ONYX LAUNCHER PROPRIETARY LICENSE AND END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT Version 1.0 - 15 October 2026 Copyright (c) 2026 Onyx Launcher copyright holders. All Rights Reserved. 1. OWNERSHIP AND SCOPE Onyx Launcher is published by Revealed SMP. This agreement applies to original Onyx-owned launcher code, executables, installers, update packages, website artwork, logos, branding, text and other original project materials (the "Materials"). Ownership remains with the respective copyright holders. Access to source files does not grant an open-source license or permission to share them. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Third-party software, third-party artwork, Minecraft, Microsoft services, WordPress and any components governed by separate licenses are excluded from the proprietary restrictions to the extent of those separate licenses. See section 6 and THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. No ownership of third-party materials is claimed. Existing licenses and previously granted rights are not revoked by this agreement. 2. LIMITED PERMISSION TO USE Subject to this agreement, you may download the official Onyx Launcher from https://revealedsmp.com/launcher/ and install and run it on devices you own or control for your personal use. You may retain private backup copies needed for that use, preserving all notices. This limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission does not transfer ownership or grant any distribution, sublicensing, trademark or commercial exploitation rights. Ordinary use of supported settings, mods, resource packs and your own Minecraft worlds is permitted. Your own content remains yours. 3. NO REDISTRIBUTION, MIRRORING OR ALTERNATIVE DOWNLOAD SITES Without prior written permission from the Onyx copyright holders, you must not copy for others, publish, upload, host, mirror, rehost, distribute, redistribute, sell, rent, lend, sublicense, bundle, repack or otherwise make the Materials, or any part of them, available to another person or service. This restriction applies whether free or paid, publicly or privately, and includes alternative websites, download portals, repositories, file-sharing services, torrents, messaging attachments, modified installers and updates. https://revealedsmp.com is the sole authorized public download website unless the copyright holders expressly authorize another in writing. Sharing a normal link to the official website is permitted; hosting or serving your own copy is not. Receiving a copy from an unauthorized source does not grant permission to redistribute it. This section does not limit separate third-party redistribution rights described in section 6. 4. NO MODIFICATION OR REVERSE ENGINEERING Except as expressly permitted in sections 2 and 6, you must not modify, translate, adapt, create derivative works from, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, reconstruct source code from, or attempt to discover the internal implementation of the Materials. You must not bypass license or access controls, remove copyright or attribution notices, impersonate an official Onyx release, or reuse Onyx logos or branding to imply permission, endorsement or affiliation. Written permission is required for other uses. 5. TERMINATION AND ENFORCEMENT Permission under this agreement terminates on a material breach, subject to any mandatory notice, cure or other rights under applicable law. On termination, stop using and delete the Materials and private backups to which that termination applies. This does not terminate independent third-party licenses. The copyright holders reserve the right to seek removal of unauthorized copies and remedies available under applicable law. This agreement does not impose automatic fines or penalties. 6. MANDATORY LAW AND THIRD-PARTY LICENSES TAKE PRIORITY Nothing in this agreement restricts a right that applicable law does not allow a contract to exclude, including any applicable rights concerning interoperability, observation, study, testing, backup, exhaustion or other mandatory exceptions. Where a separate third-party license grants rights to copy, redistribute, modify, replace or reverse engineer a component, those rights remain intact and take priority for that component. In particular, applicable Qt/PySide6/Shiboken LGPL rights remain intact. Modification for your own use and reverse engineering of the combined work for debugging such modifications to LGPL-covered libraries are permitted to the extent required by the LGPL. You may replace and relink those libraries under their licenses. GPL-covered WordPress derivative code remains subject to applicable GPL rights. The proprietary restrictions do not override those rights or extend to third-party components merely because they are shipped with Onyx. 7. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Materials are supplied "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted or error-free operation. To that same extent, the copyright holders are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the Materials. Nothing excludes or limits liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. 8. AGREEMENT AND PERMISSIONS The installer presents this agreement for acceptance before installation. For any use beyond the express permission above, obtain written permission from the copyright holders through https://revealedsmp.com before use. Any authorized exception must identify the permitted use in writing. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. No clause changes a separate license or grants rights to Minecraft or Microsoft accounts, software or trademarks.
